Winner of the “Best Breakfast with a View,” for all of Maine, by the editors at Yankee Magazine, The Looking Glass Restaurant is located next to The Bluenose Inn and The Wonder View Inn in scenic Bar Harbor, Maine.
The Bluenose Inn and The Wonder View Inn are located on the site of Farview, the estate of Mary Roberts Rinehart, famous writer of popular mystery stories. Most of the estate, along with hundreds of homes and summer cottages and thousands of acres of forest, was destroyed in the fire of October, 1947. The stone steps and walls on our grounds are remnants of the original Rinehart estate.
The Looking Glass is available for lunchtime meetings, reunions, weddings and more.
